Note: Decant for a minimum of two hours, taste as it opens. When we tasted this ultimate vintage of Von Strasser it was like getting a crash course in Mountain Cab. First, slow to show, like waking a Giant from its slumber. Then slowly, bigger and bigger, crystal-cut black cherry fruit, wild herbs, and flowers, a mouthful of grippy tannin, and a finish of pure gravel. This wine has a long future ahead. Grad some to drink now and many to store for later.
