Now in its seventh generation of winegrowers, Château Fargueirol (a 4.3 ★ winery after 4,300+ Vivino User Ratings) has a history stretching back to the 17th Century, when the Revoltier family held this French hamlet as a fiefdom. From their estate, one can enjoy a glorious and unobstructed view of the surrounding plateau of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape rolled stones on which the vines grow. The Revoltier family reinvigorated the estate in the 1970s, raising it from a state of neglect to one of Châteauneuf du Pape’s most promising boutique producers.
