Only made in the best vintages, Il Fornetto Ripasso Classico Superiore is a rare delight among Valpolicella wines. The fruit comes from the region’s highest-altitude vineyard, where the vines are approaching 50 years of age—but that’s not all. After the production of Accordini’s top cuvée, a coveted Amarone Riserva from the same site, the skins are added to the aging Ripasso in the tank. Combined with extra-long aging in oak, it makes for a wonderfully complex wine.
