The 2016 Château de Camensac Haut-Médoc offers a deep garnet color with vibrant aromas of dark berries, cherry, cedar, and subtle floral notes.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a clean, supple attack, revealing flavors of grey tobacco, minerality, and light vanilla, supported by velvety tannins and a complex, persistent finish. This wine balances freshness and richness, reminiscent of classic Left Bank Bordeaux, with a refined tannic structure that promises good aging potential. It pairs particularly well with hearty dishes such as beef tartare, duck breast with red fruits, or dark chocolate desserts.
Serve slightly cool, around 17-18°C, and open an hour before drinking to allow it to fully express its character.
