Champagne Paul Bara Special Club Brut Grand Cru 2016 offers a refined expression of Bouzy’s terroir with a dominant 70–90% Pinot Noir and a touch of Chardonnay. It shows bright, crisp acidity balanced by a creamy mousse and delicate, persistent bubbles. Aromas and flavors include lemon zest, green apple, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, and subtle toasty, hazelnut notes, layered with chalky minerality and gentle spice.
The palate is elegant and well-structured, with a long, rich finish that reveals hints of caramel and white flowers. This Champagne stands out for its balance of power and finesse, reminiscent of top grower Champagnes from Montagne de Reims.
Serve chilled between 8–10°C, ideally paired with scallop carpaccio, lightly-aged truffle Brie, or roasted chicken.
