The 2010 Spring Mountain Vineyard Elivette Red Blend from Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain District opens with an aromatic medley of cassis, potpourri, cedar, white peppercorn, caramel, and baking spices. A smooth entry leads to a graceful, structured wine of medium body, where red currant and black fruit mirror the nose. Soft tannins provide elegant shape, with notes of fresh herbs, berry, chocolate, tobacco, and subtle pine lingering on the finish. This Bordeaux-style blend evolves beautifully with age.
Serve at 60-65°F with grilled ribeye or venison.
