A concentrated, polished Minervois La Livinière, the 2017 Clos d’Ora opens with ripe **blackberry, cassis, and dark cherry** layered with garrigue herbs, licorice, and subtle cocoa.
The palate is **full-bodied yet finely structured**, with velvety tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish that recalls top modern Châteauneuf-du-Pape more than rustic Languedoc. Oak is present but well-integrated, supporting the dense fruit rather than dominating it. Impressive now with a decant, it also has the balance to reward mid-term cellaring. Pour alongside roasted lamb with rosemary, braised short ribs, or a cassoulet.
