The Romuald Valot Aloxe-Corton 2023 displays a deep ruby hue with aromas of blackberry, morello cherry, cassis, and hints of fresh mint and black pepper.
On the palate, it offers concentrated tart fruit and blackberry flavors, balanced by vibrant acidity, finely mineral stony notes, and youthful tannins that promise good evolution. This Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune shows the appellation’s signature structure—firm yet refined, with racy energy and a crisp, lingering finish. It echoes the muscular poise of Corton reds but in a more approachable village style.
Serve at 16°C with roast duck or Tomme de Savoie cheese.
