Bright and open for a grand cru, this Chardonnay shows ripe orchard and stone fruit, with toasted hazelnut, almond, and a touch of vanilla from the oak.
The palate is broad and layered, but there is enough freshness and mineral drive to keep it focused. Compared with a classic Bâtard-Montrachet profile, it leans a little more immediate and generously textured than austere. Expect a long, polished finish with subtle salinity and gentle spice.
Serve with lobster thermidor or pan-seared scallops.
