The Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino 2020 is a velvety, full-bodied red with an ethereal bouquet of violet, vanilla, and licorice. While it shares the bold, earthy character typical of Montalcino’s Sangiovese, it feels more open-knit and accessible than many traditional Brunellos, offering a warm generosity reminiscent of a warm, dry vintage.
