Ada Nada Cichin Barbaresco Rombone Riserva 2019 is a traditionally styled Barbaresco with deep color, a complex nose of roses, spice, humus, and medicinal herbs, and a firmly structured palate. The tannins are silky and elegant, but the wine still has the serious frame and lingering finish expected from a riserva. It leans more austere than plush, with the kind of depth and restraint that invites cellaring and occasional comparison to classic, old-school Barbaresco.
Best with braised veal, roast beef, or mushroom-rich pasta.
