Château Haut-Sarpe 2022 shows a dark, polished Saint-Émilion profile, with ripe black fruits, plum, and blackberry framed by notes of cocoa, licorice, smoke, and espresso.
The palate is medium-bodied to medium-plus, свеж? no: fresh, mineral-tinged, and gently creamy, with a chocolate edge and soft, mellow tannins. It feels modern in style but still grounded by enough freshness to keep the wine focused. Compared with classic Saint-Émilion, it leans a bit more supple and forward than strictly austere, closer in feel to a polished, approachable Right Bank blend.
Serve it with roast lamb, duck breast, or mushroom risotto.
