Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is perfumed and precise, with wild cherry, raspberry, dried rose, violet, orange peel, and a touch of licorice.
The palate is medium to full-bodied, lifted by vibrant acidity and polished, silky tannins. Elegant yet concentrated, it has the focused, floral character associated with top traditional Sangiovese, recalling the finesse of a great Barolo while remaining distinctly Tuscan.
Serve slightly below room temperature with roast lamb, bistecca alla fiorentina, or wild mushroom pasta.
