Yes, it’s been some time since we’ve revisited our Weekly Round- Up. We’ve been tasting so many interesting an unique wines that I just couldn’t choose. This week, however, I pulled out the perfect wine for decorating the Christmas tree. Galaxy 2014 Red Blend. A collaboration between 3 Terlato winemakers, bringing together the best of their vineyards.

- Marisa Taylor – Rutherford Hill Merlot (33%)
- Bryan Parker – Alder Ridge Dry Creek Syrah (33%)
WINE NOTES
COLOR: Deep garnet
AROMA: Cassis, boysenberry, and red fleshed plums with floral and white pepper undertones and a hint of sweet smoke.
TASTE: Juicy with a plush mid-palate and smooth finish. The muscular structure is well integrated with judicious use of new French oak. There is great aging potential here but drinks beautifully right now.
