A whopping 98 points from James Sucking at $32!
This is one of the highest scoring Chianti Classico’s for this year.
The Castello di Bossi estate is located in the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga in the southernmost tip of the Chianti Classico zone. Berardo is a shortened way of saying, “it comes from Berardenga.” These Southern parts of Chianti Classico produce a bigger, rounder, fuller Chianti.
“The floral aromas are so enticing with rose petals and lavender, which follow through to a full body with beautiful density of fruit. A long and complete finish. The best Chianti Classico ever made here in living memory. Even better than the 1961. Drink or hold.”
