2020 East Meets West Wine Competition: Gold, 94 pts.
Napa Valley produces some spectacular wines. But with the average price of Cabernet Sauvignon heading north of $100/bottle, it’s out of reach for many. Enter Smith Devereux, the Napa winery who is leading the charge in bringing great Napa wine at a price point that won’t break the bank. Winery Notes: Smith Devereux SB White Blend is refreshing and bright with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. You’ll detect gentle flavors of lemon and crisp apple that linger with the clean finish. We call it our SB blend because it is a proprietary blend of our favorite white varietals that tastes very much like a sauvignon blanc, but with a bit more complexity and pizazz. The name is also a nod to Devereux’s sons Sonny and Benjamin.
