98 Points and just $43.99 per bottle on sale, this is a dream find for Pinot Noir lovers!
Planted in 1955 – hence the catchy name – Bodega Chacra’s Cincuenta y Cinco vineyards produce some of the greatest Pinot Noir fruit you will find in the Southern Hemisphere. Two things make the juice so spectacular here. First, the incredible terroir of Rio Negro, packed full of red clay rich in iron, located in Argentina’s Patagonia region, and the second is the insightful and passionate man behind the project, its founder Piero Incisa della Rocchetta.
James Suckling 98 Points
Perfumed and floral aromas of rose petals, rose hips, wild strawberries, raspberries, sliced mushrooms and orange zest. Bright and succulent with a medium body and very fine, firm tannins. Delightful citrus and crunchy red-fruit character with pretty rose-petal notes throughout. Drink from 2024. From biodynamically grown grapes.”
