2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux is a poised, medium-bodied red that balances ripe red and dark berry fruit with tobacco, earth, and a faint sauvage edge. It shows the Gevrey signature clearly, but with a silkier, more refined profile than the appellation’s more rugged examples.

The palate is supple and energetic, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savoury finish. There’s real depth here without excess weight, making it feel both approachable now and worthy of short-term cellaring.
