Chateau Latour 2009 is a **powerful, structured Pauillac** with deep blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum fruit layered over graphite, cedar, tobacco, and earthy mineral notes. It shows the estate’s classic mix of **power and finesse**, with firm but polished tannins and a remarkably fresh, long finish. The wine is still youthful and tightly wound, so it benefits from air and will continue to unfold over time. It can be loosely compared to a grander, more muscular take on classic Left Bank Bordeaux, with the depth and seriousness that made Latour famous.
Serve with **roast lamb, prime rib, or duck breast**.
