Blend No. 52B hails from DAOU’s limited-edition Curious Collection. It’s an inventive mix of Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Grenache Blanc. Founder and winemaker Daniel Daou created the A Curious Collection project as an outlet for experimentation and innovation.
This wine leads with a heady dose of floral aromas, turning star jasmine and lavender around a core of white peach, fig, and crème brulé. Subtle accents of mango and hyacinth contribute lush dimension. A clean, refined palate shows delicate flavors of papaya and kiwi complemented by Asian pear and Casaba melon. It finishes with lingering notes of citrus, honeysuckle, and ginger.
