Fresh, supple Bourgogne from Domaine Guy Amiot showing bright red cherry and raspberry fruit with a hint of kirsch and delicate floral lift.
The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a subtle chalky, mineral undercurrent that reflects its Chassagne-Puligny fringe origins. Well-focused and approachable now, it balances freshness with enough structure to age a few years. A satisfying example of classic village-style Pinot with good value for its pedigree.
Serve slightly cool (14–16°C) with roast chicken, mushroom dishes or mild cheeses.
