Location, location, location! The Gran Moraine Vineyard is a special place. Located in one of the most westerly spots in Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton growing area, the vineyard’s sedimentary-based soils produce Pinot Noir grapes that are renowned for their nuance: balanced fruit and earth characters, all underscored by supple, elegant structure.
That special place created a truly special wine in the rather epic and fantastic 2018 growing season. Hot, dry conditions for Willamette Valley worked in Gran Moraine’s favor, delivering a grape crop that pushed the envelope of full, ripe flavors while maintaining vivaciousness and harmony.
Wine Spectator: 93 Points

Wine Advocate: 92 Points
Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton has broody aromas of crushed cherries and blood orange with accents of forest floor and exotic spices. The medium-bodied palate is silky with uplifted, floral-laced fruits and a long, vivacious finish. 6,594 cases produced.
