Haut-Brion 2018 is a **deep, polished Bordeaux** with ripe blackcurrant, plum, and dark cherry fruit lifted by tobacco leaf, cedar, and a subtle earthy note.
The palate is **silky and layered**, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savory finish that keeps the wine feeling composed rather than heavy. It has the poise and complexity you expect from a great Left Bank classic, and in style it can evoke a more mature, seamlessly textured **Pétrus-like** sense of depth, though with unmistakable Graves character. The best bottles are already very impressive, but they should continue to gain nuance with cellar time.
Serve with **roast duck, beef fillet, or truffled mushrooms**.
