Hyland Estates’ 2022 Coury Clone Pinot Noir is an aromatic, site-driven Willamette Valley Pinot with a refined mix of red and black cherry, raspberry bramble, violet, and rose. Subtle accents of Asian spice, cedar, cocoa, and toasty oak give it added depth without weighing down the fruit.
The palate is lithe but well textured, with fine-grained tannins and a long, savory finish. It has the graceful, perfumed feel of a classic old-vine Oregon Pinot, with enough structure to hold the table.
Serve slightly chilled with roast chicken, mushroom risotto, or seared salmon.
