Kochana’s 2023 Chouette Vineyard Pinot Noir is a cool-climate, finely textured Sonoma Coast wine with a pronounced mineral edge. It opens with red cherry and wild strawberry, then adds rose petal, sage, and a touch of clove.
The palate is silky and layered, with bright acidity and a long, soft finish that keeps it elegant rather than heavy. It should appeal to fans of restrained, Burgundy-leaning Pinot Noir, but with a bit more coastal fruit lift.
