Winemaker Notes
On the nose, abundant aromas leap from the glass, with banana cream pie and a plethora of tropical notes leading the way: white pineapple, ripe passionfruit, mango and guava. The palate is round and open, with accents of ruby red grapefruit, honeysuckle and melon married with a burst of crisp, refreshing acidity.

This white offers a complex mix of lime sherbet, makrut lime leaf, lemon curd and orange blossom flavors that are fragrant and complex on a fleshy, succulent frame, with notes of nectarine and ripe Crenshaw melon. Harmonious, with a fresh thread of acidity on the finish.

I don’t think there’s a Sauvignon Blanc out there with the complex array of aromatics and unique flavors offered up by this stellar super-Sauv. Scents of salted butterscotch, peach blossom, just-mowed grass and pineapple fill the air. Developed flavors of jasmine-soaked pears and honeyed tangerine are mesmerizing — and the acidity pulls it all together.

The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc opens from youthful yeasty tones to fresh citrus and green tropical fruits. The medium-bodied palate is notable for the intensity of its spicy fruits and bright freshness, and it finishes with an anchoring touch of texture.
