A Rhône-style Napa blend of Grenache and Syrah, this 2023 release is fragrant and vivid, with red and dark cherry, plum, blood orange, and dried herbs woven through notes of lavender, spice, and a touch of mocha. It has a silky, medium- to full-bodied feel, with fine tannins and enough savory structure to keep the fruit focused rather than lush. The style is unusual for Napa, and the best bottles in this mold can resemble a polished, right-bank-meets-Rhône blend with more lift than weight.
