Gap’s Crown is the world-famous California vineyard perched in the foothills of Sonoma Mountain right smack in the Petaluma Gap on southwest-facing slopes that rise from 300 to 800 ft. in elevation—it’s a Goldilocks site where the temperature is never too cold, nor too hot.
Jeb Dunnuck’s review says it all: “One of the deeper colored releases, the ruby/plum-hued 2016 Pinot Noir Gap’s Crown Vineyard comes from a terrific site on the Sonoma Coast and was brought up in 40% new French oak.
