Roccheviberti’s Barolo Vigneti Rocche di Castiglione 2021 is a finely etched, floral Barolo with red cherry, raspberry, violet, and dried herb aromas.
The palate is taut and elegant, with bright acidity, firm but polished tannins, and a long, savory finish marked by spice and mineral depth. It has the classic Castiglione Falletto feel: refined, lifted, and structured rather than lush, with a shape that can recall a more restrained young Barolo from a top traditional house.
Best with a little air in its youth, it should pair well with braised veal, roast lamb, or mushroom risotto.
