Fresh, focused Maranges Premier Cru showing bright red cherry and raspberry at the core with a savory undercurrent of forest floor and light iron-mineral lift.
The palate is mid-weight with fine, polished tannins and a subtle thread of warm spice and vanilla from judicious oak. It offers Maranges’ characteristic energy and a slightly wild, gamey edge that gives the wine tension and aging potential. A good-value example of Côte de Beaune Pinot that balances approachability with structure.
Serve lightly chilled at 14–16°C with roast duck, mushroom dishes, or a platter of charcuterie and aged cheeses.
