Tommasi Valpolicella Classico Ripasso 2020 shows a deep ruby color and an inviting nose of ripe cherry, black pepper, tobacco, and warm spice.
The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with a smooth, silky texture, lively fruit, and a balanced richness from the Ripasso method. Notes of cherry jam, dried fruit, and a touch of toasted oak carry through to a long, elegant finish. It has the approachable depth of a lighter Amarone, but with more freshness and lift.
Serve with grilled meats, braised beef, or aged hard cheeses.
