Westwood’s 2021 The Pivot Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a structured, full-bodied Napa Cab with deep black fruit, graphite, and savory oak notes. The 40% whole-cluster ferment and 26 months in new French oak give it firm tannins, a lifted aromatic edge, and a long, ageworthy finish. It feels closest in style to a classic Left Bank Bordeaux-meets-Napa profile, with more polish than raw power. Best after a short decant, with grilled ribeye or braised short ribs.
